The artwork, BLACKENEDOUT,  comprises of a series of portraits of people who have been blackenedout in the 1980's in South Africa. The installation is a DASART production and has been created by Michael Matthews.

BLACKENEDOUT comprises of a series of selected portraits of blackened out people. The portraits have been modelled in 3D then made into anaglyps. These are printed onto original text written by detainee's about their experiences. The images and texts are also printed over an image of Leoardo Da vinci where he blackened out his face .
